Black Stars midfielder Andre Ayew has joined Swansea on a free transfer after the player’s contract with Marseille expired.
The move, which is subject to clearance from the Premier League and FIFA, will see Ayew sign for the Welsh club on a four-year deal.
The club confirmed the deal on Wednesday.
Ayew had been the subject of interest from several clubs in England and Italy mainly Liverpool and AS Roma.
Swansea were not mentioned in the reports but they have finally signed the Ghanaian who scored 10 goals in 29 matches for Marseille in his last season for the French club.
That led him to win the Marc-Vivien Foe Award for the Best African Player in the French League.
