Big Brother Africa – Ghana audition dates announced

Auditions for the ninth edition of Big Brother Africa will take place at the Accra Holiday Inn Hotel Airport on 5 and 6 July, organisers have announced.
Africa’s biggest reality series kicks off in September, and those who think they have what it takes to be housemates are invited to audition for the role.
Previous editions of Big Brother Africa have boasted huge cash prizes for winners and propelled them to celebrity status. This year’s prize money is US $300,000.
Those wishing to audition should be aged 21 or above. They must be citizens of a participating country and have a valid passport.
Entries are open to the following 14 countries: Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
M-Net Africa Regional Director (West Africa) Wangi Wa-Uzoukwu said: “We are very grateful and remain pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming response that the show has been receiving over the years.
“We look forward to the selection of our potential housemates coming in large numbers to auditions at the specified venues and take that chance at being the next Big Brother star.
“The fact that the fans truly adore the show is all the motivation we need to keep it fresh and that is always made possible by the enthusiastic and fun-loving young Africans who will answer to Big Brother.
“We are rearing to go and we know that this will definitely be another exciting season that is full of quality entertainment!”
