Big Brother Africa 9 audition dates to be finalised in June
Audition dates for Big Brother Africa Season 9 are to be finalised in June. Contestants from Ghana will once again be able to apply to participate.
Entry is open to 14 countries: Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. This year, newcomers Rwanda replace Angola as a participating country.
Africa’s biggest reality show hits the screens on 6 September 2014, drawing the some of the continent’s most weird and wonderful personalities.
As always, Big Brother is expected to change the fortunes of its contestants. Previous housemates have gone on to lucrative showbiz and entertainment careers and achieved celebrity status.
Entry is open to over-21s who are citizens of one of the participating countries. Entrants must have a valid passport and be fluent in English. Producers are also looking for characters who are entertaining and who can captivate the interest of millions of Big Brother viewers across the continent and beyond.
