Helicopter Crash: God is not punishing Ghana because of Agradaa’s prayers in prison – Prophet Elvis Kwakye (Sunsum Boafo) fires back at Prophet Kofi Amponsah

Prophet Elvis Kwakye, popularly known as Sunsum Boafo, the leader of Jesus Power Embassy in Kronum-Afrancho, has strongly refuted claims by Prophet Kofi Amponsah that the recent helicopter crash in Ghana is a sign of divine punishment due to Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, also known as Nana Agradaa, being unfairly sentenced to 15 years in prison.

In a heated response on Kessben FM’s Drive Time Show with Fante Quoo, Prophet Kwakye dismissed the narrative, insisting that Ghana’s challenges cannot and should not be attributed to the incarceration of one individual, especially someone whose ministry and public conduct have been the subject of national controversy.

Earlier this week, Prophet Kofi Amponsah made headlines after declaring that the tragic helicopter crash, which resulted in injuries to crew members and raised concerns about aviation safety, was a spiritual warning from God.

He claimed that the sentencing of Nana Agradaa was unjust and that her “powerful prayers from prison” had stirred spiritual unrest in the country.

His comments quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions from the Christian community and the wider public.

In a no-holds-barred reply, Prophet Kwakye said that while the Bible teaches that God does intervene in nations’ affairs, it is incorrect, and even dangerous, to link every national tragedy to individual circumstances without discernment or evidence from the Holy Spirit.

Nana Agradaa, now known as Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, was recently sentenced to 15 years in prison after being found guilty of defrauding multiple individuals under the guise of “money doubling” rituals and unlicensed financial practices.
