Traboum Health Center Gets Support From Native Philanthropist To Boost Quality Health Care
To effectively enhance quality health care delivery at Traboum in Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region, Mr kwaku Nuamah, a native, has presented hospital equipment to the health center in the community.
The items donated on Tuesday August 24, 2021 were Hospital beds, mattresses, bed decorative covers, Oxygen mask and Dental needles.
Mr Michael Gyau Nantwi who presented the items on behalf of the philanthropist stated that, the assistance Mr Kwaku Nuamah has granted to the facility is to ensure that residents in the community and nearby enjoy quality health care.
He indicated that, the gesture is not the first time, but Mr Nuamah has been of immense help to the community in whenever necessary through Elizabeth Foundation based in Austra.
Mr Michael Gyau underlined that, his brother Kwaku Nuamah has the development of the community at heart so they will extend their continuous support to see to it indigens get better transformation.
The District Director of Health for Atwima Kwanwoma, Mrs Comfort Soglu after expressing her appreciation indicated the items have come timely to facilitate their activities.
She disclosed that, maternal mortality is becoming rampant in the area since most health centers lack hospital equipment. Added that she believes such unfortunate incident will be a thing of the past at Traboum health center because of the items the facility has received from Mr Nuamah.
