Ten Year-old-boy hangs himself

Inquest (suicide by hanging)

Yaw Akuoko Sarpong age 33 years of H/No Plot 39 block E Atonsu S – Line came to the station with a report that on 09/08/21 at about 1500hrs he returned home from work and found his younger brother Paul Boateng age 10 years hanged on a ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms in their house at Atonsu S – Line.

Police proceeded to the scene and saw the deceased hanged on a ceiling fan with a nylon net and his feet on a mattress.

A kitchen stool and a ladder were found at the scene. The body was photographed and conveyed to Komfo Anokye teaching hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy
