Video: Two-Year-Old Baby Found Dead in a Well at Abura Adaboro
A two-year-old girl got drowned in stagnant water at Abura Adabodo, a farming community in the Abura Asebu Asamankese District of the Central Region.
The sad incident happened on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, when the baby was following her grandmother to the farm a few hours after the grandmother had left, leaving her behind.
The two-year baby slipped and fell into a dugout on the road leading to the farm she was using to chase her granny. Our correspondent told Alibaba Dankanbary on Kessben Fm breaking news programme that, the grandmother after spending several hours searching for the whereabouts of the baby without a success informed the committee members of the town.
A search party was organized by the unit committee subsequently and retrieved her dead body in the dugout lying supine. Assembly Member of the community, Hon K. B Hayford confirmed to our reporter that, the biological mother of the baby known as Faustina, 18 years, is currently working in ACCRA and the baby has since been in the care of the grandmother.
