Aki-Ola Publications Company Limited has donated educational books valued at GH₵482,410 to the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) in a major move to strengthen teaching and learning across Ghanaian schools.
The donation supports GETFund’s Education Financing Partnership Initiative (EFPI), championed by its Administrator, Paul Adjei, to mobilise private-sector support for educational development.
The books were presented by Aki-Ola Publications’ Managing Director, Peter Asiedu, and received by GETFund Deputy Administrator, Alhassan Sualihu Dandaawa, on behalf of the Fund.
The initiative is expected to improve classroom instruction, promote independent learning and encourage reading habits among students while strengthening their academic foundations.
Peter Asiedu reaffirmed Aki-Ola Publications’ commitment to advancing quality education, stressing the importance of books in shaping students’ academic success.
The gesture highlights the growing importance of public-private partnerships in supporting Ghana’s education sector and complementing government investment.
