Sports analyst Dr Franko Naro has suggested that Ghana captain and veteran midfielder André “Dede” Ayew should consider announcing his retirement from the Black Stars.

Speaking on Kessben Sports, Dr Franko Naro said indications suggest that Ayew may not return to the national team and urged him to formally announce his retirement to allow the next phase of his career to begin.

“From all indications, Dede Ayew will not return to play for the Black Stars. He should announce his retirement for the next thing to follow,” Dr Franko Naro said.

Ayew has been one of Ghana’s most prominent players, having represented the Black Stars for many years and featured in several major international tournaments.
