BREAKING: Dede Ayew ready to contest GFA chairmanship – Kessben FM journalist Bright Yeboah Taylor reveals

Former Ghana captain André “Dede” Ayew is reportedly preparing to enter the race for the Ghana Football Association (GFA) chairmanship, according to Kessben Sports journalist Bright Yeboah Taylor.

Taylor is said to have revealed that the experienced footballer is now ready to consider a bid for the leadership position, potentially setting the stage for an interesting contest within Ghana football.

Dede Ayew, 36, has enjoyed a long and distinguished playing career, representing Ghana at multiple Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and FIFA World Cups. His experience with the Black Stars and in European football has also made him one of Ghana’s most recognisable football figures.

The reported interest comes as discussions around the future direction and leadership of Ghana football continue to attract public attention.

However, there has yet to be an official declaration from Ayew confirming his intention to contest the GFA chairmanship.

If he eventually enters the race, his candidacy would add a high-profile name to the conversation ahead of the next GFA leadership election.
