NPP-USA Declares Support For Obaa Yaa Amponsah Frimpong Ahead Of Kumasi Delegates Conference
The United States Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP-USA) has thrown its weight behind Mrs. Obaa Yaa Amponsah Frimpong*, candidate for National First Vice Chairperson – Ballot No. 8, ahead of the party’s national elections in Kumasi on October 3, 2026.
In a Letter of Goodwill dated September 28, 2026, and signed by Branch Secretary Augustine Yao Agbeneza* on behalf of NPP-USA, the Branch described Obaa Yaa as a grassroots leader in the truest sense.
“Your service to this Party began at the very beginning. You were a founding member of our Colorado Chapter and its inaugural Secretary, an office you held for twelve years. From there you rose through every rung of the Branch ladder: Second Vice Chairperson, Acting Chairperson, and now substantive Chairperson — more than twenty-two years of service, and still counting.”
The letter, addressed from 18691 East Radcliff Place, Aurora, CO, said her record is one of selfless sacrifice, endurance and commitment.
According to NPP-USA, the current period in opposition is precisely the hour that calls for leaders who know how to build from the ground.

Mrs. Obaa Yaa Amponsah Frimpong is contesting for National First Vice Chairperson position in the NPP national executives election scheduled for Kumasi.
