Kotoko Highlights Charge: Andy Kerm questions why GFA didn’t act in Gold Stars vs Wonders case

The Ghana Football Association’s decision to charge Asante Kotoko for allegedly failing to publish highlights of their game against Debibi within 48 hours has sparked questions about consistency in the application of the rule.

Speaking on Kessben Sports, Andy Kerm questioned why Kotoko are being sanctioned over the highlights requirement, while recalling a similar situation involving Gold Stars and Eleven Wonders last season.

Kerm’s central question was whether highlights from the Gold Stars versus Eleven Wonders fixture were published within the required 48-hour period — and, if not, whether the same rule was applied at the time.

The debate has therefore shifted beyond Kotoko’s case, with questions being raised about whether the GFA’s regulations on match highlights are being enforced uniformly across all clubs.
