“We Will Deliver 4 Million Youth Votes For Bawumia In 2028” – Abanga Yakubu Fuseini Unveils Massive Youth Mobilisation Drive After Vetting

Aspiring National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Abanga Yakubu Fuseini, says he is going to lead a massive mobilisation drive to deliver 4 million votes from the youth under 40 to bring Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP back to power in 2028.

Speaking to the media after his vetting at the NPP headquarters in Accra on Wednesday, September 2, Fuseini said his message to delegates is simple and unique – effective mobilisation and organisation of resources for the youth.

“My message is simple. My message is unique. The message is about how we can mobilize and organize resources for the youth to be able to prosecute an effective, proactive campaign that will bring victory to the party in 2028,” he said.

The youth organiser hopeful, who has maintained his popular OBIAA BEDIDI mantra, said the youth wing holds the key to the party’s comeback and must be properly resourced and structured.

“I have never changed my mantra. I still remain BRBD. It is not for me anymore, it’s the youth vote. They are saying youth under 40. Yes. So we, the youth under 40, we are going to produce 4 million votes aside from the entire party,” he declared.

He outlined his mobilisation structure which he said will involve every youth leader from the region to the TESCON level.

“I am going to do that with regional youth organisers, constituency youth organisers and youth delegates under 40, TESCON coordinators and TESCON presidents. With proper structure and proper resources, we should be able to achieve that,” he stressed.

Fuseini, who described himself as an effective communicator and a resourceful youth leader, said his focus is to build a united and energised youth front that can drive the party’s 2028 agenda.

Abanga Yakubu Fuseini is among the leading contenders for the National Youth Organiser position of the NPP.

The NPP will hold its National Delegates Conference on October 3, 2026 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi to elect new national officers to lead the party’s reorganisation ahead of the 2028 general elections.
