Over 80 Constituency Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries Endorse Lexy Abena Boahene for Ashanti Regional Deputy Secretary
More than 80 Constituency Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries across the Ashanti Region have endorsed Lexy Abena Boahene for the position of Ashanti Regional Deputy Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), citing her innovative ideas, administrative competence, passion for party administration, and extensive experience in organizational development.
The endorsement follows a private engagement held on Saturday, 1st August 2026, between Lexy Abena Boahene and members of the Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries Association. During the meeting, she outlined her vision for transforming the Regional Secretariat into a robust, efficient, effective, and technology-driven administrative hub capable of supporting the party’s growth and electoral success.
In her presentation, Lexy proposed practical reforms aimed at strengthening record management, improving communication between the regional and constituency secretariats, enhancing data management systems, building the capacity of party executives, and creating structured opportunities for continuous training and professional development. She also emphasized the need for greater gender inclusivity and increased participation of women in the party’s leadership and decision-making structures.
Party executives praised her forward-thinking proposals, describing her vision as timely, practical, and aligned with the party’s objective of building a stronger organization ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Lexy Abena Boahene has served the New Patriotic Party in various capacities, demonstrating unwavering commitment to the party’s growth and grassroots development. Her service includes leadership in constituency electoral processes, grassroots mobilization, executive coordination, and supporting party activities across the Ashanti Region.
Speaking after receiving the endorsement, Lexy expressed her gratitude to the Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries for their confidence in her vision.

Our focus must be on strengthening our internal structures, empowering our executives, and positioning the NPP for victory in 2028.”
She reaffirmed her commitment to working tirelessly to secure victory for the NPP in the 2028 general elections and to help ensure that Mahamudu Bawumia becomes the next President of the Republic of Ghana.
