MMAAG National Executive Tenure Expires, Board Announces Interim Arrangements Ahead Of Elections

The Governing Board of the Mobile Money Agents Association of Ghana (MMAAG) has announced that the tenure of the current National Executive Administration officially expired today, Thursday, 16th July 2026.
In a press release signed by Board Chairman, Mr. Joshua Edmundson, and Board Secretary, Mr. Eric Asamoah, the Board said it has commenced processes towards the conduct of elections to constitute a new National Executive Administration in line with the Asociation’s Constitution and governance framework.
Interim Management To Be Announced
Pending the elections and the assumption of office by the duly elected executives, the Board said it will communicate interim management arrangements to stakeholders through official correspondence in due course.
“As approved by the Board, an interim management arrangements shall be communicated to your office through official correspondence in due course,” the statement noted.
New Media Contact Designated
During the transition, the Board has designated Mr. Martin McAdams Azamah as the official communication representative for the Association.
Mr. Azamah, who has been acting in the capacity of Founder, will handle all official communication, media enquiries, and matters relating to MMAAG until further notice.

The Board urged all media houses and stakeholders to direct all Association-related matters to Mr. Azamah during this period.

The Board also expressed appreciation to Mobile Money Fintech Ltd for its “cordial relationship and continued support” and said it looks forward to sustaining the partnership with the incoming National Executive Administration.
