Ghanaian gospel musician Akwasi Nyarko has revealed that the public attention surrounding his marriage issues unexpectedly boosted his earnings on YouTube.

Speaking on Kessben Drive with host Fante Quoo, the musician said he was surprised by the financial benefits that came from the widespread discussions about his personal life.

“When my marriage issue came and people were talking about it all over, I was cashing out on YouTube. I never knew YouTube is sweet like that,” he said.

According to Akwasi Nyarko, the increased public interest led to a significant rise in views on his YouTube channel, resulting in higher revenue from the platform.
