Excess eggs on the market now due to the Nkoko Nkikiti Project – Frank Otuo Acheampong, NDC Comm. team member

Frank Otuo Acheampong, an NDC communicator, has attributed the current surplus of eggs on the Ghanaian market to the government’s Nkoko Nkikiti project.

Speaking on Kessben FM, Acheampong stated that the poultry initiative has significantly boosted egg production across the country, resulting in increased supply and greater availability of eggs on the market.

According to him, the project was designed to support poultry farmers, increase local production, and reduce dependence on imported poultry products. He argued that the abundance of eggs being witnessed is evidence that the initiative is yielding positive results.

Acheampong further noted that the increased production has the potential to improve food security and create more opportunities within the poultry value chain. He urged stakeholders to support the program to ensure its long-term success.
