LGBTQ Bill: You can use propaganda to win elections, but you can never use propaganda to rule. Reality has caught up with NDC – Hon Andrew Bediako

Former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Jaman South, Hon. Andrew Bediako, has criticized the NDC government over its handling of issues surrounding the LGBTQ bill, arguing that political messaging alone cannot substitute for governance.

Speaking on the matter, Hon. Bediako stated that while propaganda may help political parties win elections, it cannot be relied upon to govern effectively. According to him, the realities of leadership and public expectations have now caught up with the government.

“You can use propaganda to win elections, but you can never use propaganda to rule. Reality has caught up with the NDC,” he remarked.

The former MCE urged the government to clearly communicate its position and actions regarding the LGBTQ bill and other key national issues. He maintained that Ghanaians expect leaders to fulfill their promises and provide decisive leadership on matters of public concern.
