Pastor Urges Youth to Use Social Media Positively to Secure Their Future.
The Head Pastor of New Spring Chapel Assemblies of God Church at Santasi in the Ashanti Region,Pastor Badu Kyenkyehene, has advised Ghanaians, particularly the youth, to embrace social media as a positive tool that can help secure their future and impact lives meaningfully.
According to him, many young people are currently using social media platforms in ways that do not project good values and personal development. He stressed the need for the youth to rather channel their energy into productive and beneficial activities online that can improve their lives and open opportunities for the future.
Pastor Badu Kyenkyehene made the call during the launch of the “2026 Higher Life Breakfast Meeting” held at Golden Bean Hotel in Kumasi. The event is scheduled to take place on October 31, 2026.
Speaking at the launch, he explained that the purpose of the Higher Life Breakfast Meeting is to gather people from different backgrounds, especially individuals who are yet to know Christ, to enlighten them with the word of God and win more souls for Christ.
He emphasized that the meeting would not only focus on preaching Christ but would also serve as a platform where people’s challenges and seeming impossibilities would be addressed through prayers and spiritual guidance.
Pastor Badu Kyenkyehene further encouraged churches and Christian groups to take advantage of modern communication tools such as social media to spread the gospel and positively influence society.
