NDC’s 24-hour economy is the biggest scam of the decade – NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman hopeful, Henry Kwabena Kokofu

NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman hopeful, Henry Kwabena Kokofu, has strongly criticised the NDC’s proposed 24-hour economy policy, describing it as “the biggest scam of the decade.”

Speaking on Kessben TV, Kokofu questioned the practicality and implementation of the policy, arguing that the NDC has failed to clearly explain how the initiative would create sustainable jobs and improve the economy.

According to him, the policy is being used as a political message to attract voters rather than a realistic economic solution to the country’s challenges.

Kokofu further stated that Ghana’s current economic and energy conditions do not support a successful 24-hour economy, insisting that businesses are already struggling with high operational costs.

He called on Ghanaians to critically examine the proposal and compare it with the NPP’s track record in governance and economic management.

The NDC’s 24-hour economy proposal has remained a major topic in Ghana’s political discussions ahead of the next general elections, with both supporters and critics debating its potential impact on the country’s economy.
