Dr. Peter Tekpeh, Hon. Akwasi Osei Commend Ashanti Regional Minister’s Leadership

Political figures Dr. Peter Tekpeh and Hon. Akwasi Osei have praised the leadership of Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, describing his administration as impactful and visionary.
Speaking during a zoom interview on Kessben TV’s Digest show on Thursday, April 30, 2026, Dr. Peter Tekpeh expressed satisfaction with the minister’s performance, noting that Dr. Amoakohene’s leadership in the Ashanti Region has been both formidable and significant.
According to him, President John Dramani Mahama’s decision to entrust young leaders with key roles in government is yielding positive results, with Dr. Amoakohene serving as a strong example of youthful leadership, humility, and commitment to regional development.
Dr. Tekpeh emphasized that the Ashanti Regional Minister is steering the region with clear vision and dedication, adding that his approach to governance reflects a deep understanding of the developmental needs of the people.
Adding his voice to the discussion, Hon. Akwasi Osei, a former Foreign Affairs Minister, also commended Dr. Amoakohene for his efforts in advancing development in the Ashanti Region.
He stressed that governance is a continuous process and urged successive governments to sustain and complete ongoing development projects, regardless of which administration initiated them.
Hon. Osei further advised that all development projects in the Ashanti Region should align with the “Garden City” concept, preserving the region’s identity while modernizing its infrastructure.
He also called for the establishment of a long-term development framework for both the region and the country to ensure consistency and continuity in national progress.
Concluding his remarks, Hon. Osei described Dr. Amoakohene as a visible and accountable leader who remains connected to the people he serves.
