Rev Vincent Kankam has called for greater respect and recognition for essential workers, stressing the critical roles they play in everyday life.
Speaking on his “Food For Thought” segment on Kessben FM, Rev Kankam highlighted occupations such as cooks, drivers, and cleaners, describing them as individuals who often hold “life and death” responsibilities despite being overlooked.
“Let’s respect workers like cooks, drivers, cleaners, etc. They hold life and death key positions,” he said.
According to him, the work of these individuals directly impacts public safety, health, and well-being. From ensuring hygienic food preparation to maintaining safe transportation and clean environments, their contributions are fundamental to society’s functioning.
Rev Kankam urged the public to adopt a mindset of respect and gratitude, emphasizing that dignity in labor should be extended to every profession.
