Ashanti Region is the 2nd most populous region in Ghana, but why don’t they get their fair share from the national cake? from political appointment to projects? – Wofa Kofi Appiah

Media personality, Kofi Appiah, popularly known as Wofa Kofi, has questioned what he describes as the inadequate allocation of national resources to the Ashanti Region despite its large population.

Speaking on his program on Kessben FM, he pointed out that the region is the second most populated in Ghana, yet appears to lag behind in terms of political appointments and developmental projects.

Wofa Kofi Appiah raised concerns over what he sees as an imbalance in the distribution of the “national cake,” questioning why the region does not receive what he considers its fair share of government attention and investment.

He called for a more equitable approach to resource allocation, urging authorities to ensure that population size and the needs of residents are fairly considered in national development planning.
