A co-host of Kessben Maakye, Kwabena Owusu Dankwah, popularly known as KOD, has expressed strong concern over what he describes as the neglect of the Ashanti Region in national development.
Speaking on Kessben FM, KOD lamented that the region has been “turned into a rotten sponge,” alleging that it is not receiving its fair share of the national cake despite its importance to the country.
He argued that the situation reflects a broader imbalance in the distribution of resources and development projects, which he believes continues to disadvantage residents of the region.
KOD called on authorities to address the perceived disparities and ensure a more equitable allocation of resources to support growth and improve living conditions in the Ashanti Region.
