3,000 Pragya tricycles operate daily in Asokore Mampong – MCE calls for proper regulation

The Municipal Chief Executive for Asokore Mampong Municipality, Ben Abdallah, has revealed that approximately 3,000 Pragya tricycle ply the municipality’s roads each day.

Speaking on Kessben FM, the MCE noted that the tricycles have become a vital mode of transportation for many residents, offering convenience and employment opportunities within the area.

Despite their importance, Hon. Abdallah stressed the urgent need for proper regulation to address growing concerns over road safety and traffic management.

He indicated that without effective control measures, the increasing number of tricycles could lead to congestion and accidents.

The MCE therefore called for stricter enforcement of transport guidelines and collaboration between authorities and operators to ensure safe and orderly use of Pragya tricycles across the municipality.
