Almost all the contracts under the NDC’s big push projects have been given to individuals through sole-sourcing – Kennedy Kankam

Former Member of Parliament for Nhyieso, Kennedy Kankam, has alleged that nearly all contracts under the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) “Big Push” infrastructure agenda have been awarded through sole-sourcing to selected individuals.
Speaking in an interview on Kessben FM with host Wofa Kofi Appiah, the former lawmaker, who represented the New Patriotic Party (NPP), questioned the transparency of the proposed project rollout.
According to Kankam, the alleged procurement approach raises concerns about accountability and value for money, urging stakeholders to scrutinize the processes behind the initiative. He argued that competitive bidding should be prioritized to ensure fairness and public trust.
The NDC has yet to officially respond to the claims. However, the “Big Push” policy has been promoted by the party as a major infrastructure drive aimed at accelerating national development if elected into office.
