Security Service Recruitment: Selecting qualified personnel on merit will sanitize the system – KOD
Speaking on the Kessben Maaky show, KOD noted that recruiting the right and qualified personnel into the country’s security agencies is essential for professionalism and efficiency.
According to him, when recruitment processes are strictly based on merit, it helps eliminate favoritism and strengthens public confidence in the security services. He added that ensuring only competent individuals are selected would ultimately improve discipline, integrity, and performance within the sector.
KOD further stressed that a transparent and fair recruitment system will contribute to building a more credible and effective security structure in the country.
His comments come amid ongoing public discussions about recruitment processes into Ghana’s security services and the need to ensure fairness and accountability in the selection of personnel.
