Ghanaian voters should make the NPP & the NDC understand that 8 years in government is not guaranteed. If you mess up, you will be voted out in 4 years – Wofa Kofi Appiah

Ghanaian media personality Wofa Kofi Appiah has urged voters to send a strong message to the country’s two major political parties that remaining in power for eight years should not be taken for granted.
Speaking on his show on Kessben FM, Wofa Kofi Appiah said it is time for citizens to hold both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) accountable through the ballot box.
According to him, Ghana’s democratic system gives voters the power to determine whether a government deserves a second term. He stressed that the assumption of an “automatic” eight-year tenure undermines accountability and responsiveness.
“Ghanaian voters should make NPP and NDC understand that the eight years in government is not guaranteed. If you mess up, you will be voted out in four years,” he stated.
He emphasized that performance, delivery on campaign promises, and commitment to improving the lives of citizens should be the deciding factors in elections, not party loyalty.
