Bawumia’s popularity continues to rise in the Ashanti Region with overwhelming endorsement from grassroots to top executives – Hon Ralph Poku-Adusei, Bekwai MP
The popularity of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia continues to rise in the Ashanti Region, following a massive endorsement from key party stakeholders in the Bekwai Constituency, according to the Member of Parliament for Bekwai, Hon. Ralph Poku-Adusei.
Hon. Poku-Adusei revealed that all constituency executives, electoral area coordinators, former executives, and members of the council of elders in Bekwai have unanimously endorsed Dr. Bawumia. He said the leadership has also pledged to deliver the highest possible votes for him in the Ashanti Region.
According to the MP, the endorsement reflects growing confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, vision, and track record, particularly his role in Ghana’s digital transformation and economic reforms. He noted that party faithful in Bekwai see Dr. Bawumia as the best candidate to unite the party and lead it to victory in future elections.
Hon. Poku-Adusei emphasized that the show of unity in Bekwai is a strong signal of the former Vice President’s expanding grassroots appeal across the region. He expressed optimism that similar endorsements will continue to emerge from other constituencies in Ashanti and beyond.
