New Year 2026 means nothing without a renewed mind – Rev. Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

Rev. Vincent Kankam has urged Ghanaians to look beyond the celebration of a new calendar year and focus on personal transformation, stressing that 2026 can only be considered “new” if people are willing to renew their minds.
Speaking on his show on Kessben FM, Rev. Kankam emphasized that simply entering a new year does not automatically bring change, progress, or success. According to him, true renewal begins with a shift in mindset, attitudes, and habits.
He explained that many people carry the same negative thinking, fear, and limitations from the previous year into the new one, thereby preventing growth. Without mental and spiritual renewal, he noted, the year may change, but lives remain the same.
Rev. Kankam encouraged listeners to embrace positive thinking, discipline, and faith as they step into 2026, adding that a renewed mind is the foundation for meaningful change, breakthroughs, and fulfillment in the new year.
