Flee from friends who like trolling but hate to be trolled – Rev Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam) warns

Rev Vincent Kankam, has cautioned the public to distance themselves from people who enjoy mocking others but become angry when the same energy is directed at them.

Speaking during a discussion on anger management on Kessben FM, Rev Kankam said such individuals often contribute to toxic relationships and social tension, both online and offline.

“Flee from friends who like trolling but hate to be trolled,” he warned. “These are the kinds of people who provoke others for fun but cannot handle the same treatment. They carry bitterness, resentment, and pride.”

According to him, people who constantly engage in trolling behavior but cannot take criticism often struggle with insecurity and anger issues. He noted that maintaining relationships with such individuals can drain emotional energy and lead to unnecessary conflict.

Rev Kankam encouraged listeners to cultivate emotional maturity, empathy, and self-control in their interactions, especially on social media where trolling has become common.

He further urged Ghanaians, particularly the youth, to practice emotional intelligence and seek personal growth instead of hiding behind sarcasm or online bullying.
