According to Sofo Kankam, a man once took the life of his own child after being mocked by his friends, who teased him that his child was “ugly.”
Sofo Kankam speaking on Kessben FM’s Food For Thought on Tuesday, explained that, consumed by anger and shame, the man’s reaction led to an unthinkable act, he killed his innocent child in a fit of rage.
He was later arrested, tried, and sentenced to prison, where he eventually died.
“His friends mocked him, saying his child was ugly. Out of anger, he did the unthinkable. But in the end, he lost everything, his child, his freedom, and his own life,” Sofo Kankam recounted.
He used the heartbreaking story to teach a powerful moral lesson about the dangers of anger, describing it as a trap that destroys lives when left unchecked.
Sofo Kankam urged listeners to learn patience, forgiveness, and emotional self-control, emphasizing that reacting in anger often leads to irreversible consequences.
“Anger is a trap. When you act in anger, you don’t just hurt others, you destroy yourself,” he cautioned.
