Fight Against Galamsey: Chairman Wontumi is not a Galamseyer but a registered miner – Dr. Kwasi Kyei

Former Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the NPP, Dr. Kwasi Kyei has clarified that Chairman Wontumi is a registered miner and not involved in galamsey.

Speaking on Kessben with Wofa Kofi Appiah, he explained, Chairman Wontumi is a registered miner and has licensed documents noting Chairman Wontumi as a small-scale miner.

According to Dr. Kyei, the level at which our rivers have been destroyed is the worst in the history of Ghana for the past 10 months under the NDC government.

He claimed that, black Volta have been destroyed by the NDC people in relation to Galamsey.

Dr. Kyei again mentioned the NDC government hates Chairman Wontumi and is trying to get any means to victimize him.
