You don’t have to offend or hurt some people before opposing your progress, be prayerful and look sharp in all your dealings – Rev Vincent Kankam

Rev. Vincent Kankam, popularly known through Kessben FMโ€™s Food for Thought show, has offered listeners a powerful reminder about advancing in life with integrity and wisdom.

Speaking on the Wednesday edition of the show, he said you donโ€™t need to offend people in order to progress. Instead, he counsels that being prayerful and always โ€œlooking sharpโ€ are far more effective guides.

Rev. Kankam acknowledged a common temptation: when one begins to rise, grow, or change, there is often pushback.

Criticism, jealousy, misunderstanding, and hostility may come from familiar quarters and from outsiders alike. But he cautions that reacting in kind, hurting others, lashing out, or trying to prove oneself by offense can tarnish oneโ€™s character and slow oneโ€™s growth.
