Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has disclosed that Kumasi tops the charts when it comes to the streaming numbers for his music.

Speaking in an interview with Sir Joe Laka on Kessben TV, he revealed that data from his streaming platforms consistently shows the Ashanti Regional capital as his biggest source of online listeners.

“If I check my analytics, my biggest numbers with streaming are from Kumasi,” Sarkodie stated.

The revelation highlights Kumasi’s strong fanbase and influence in Ghana’s music industry. Known as a cultural hub with a deep appreciation for Ghanaian rap and hiplife, Kumasi has long been a key support zone for Sarkodie, whose use of Twi and relatable themes resonates strongly with local audiences.
