Miss Ghana UK 2025 slated for October 18th in London

The much anticipated Miss Ghana UK (MGUK) beauty pageant is back with a bang! All roads lead to the Dominion Centre, Wood Green, London on Saturday 18th October 2025 for the grand finale of Miss Ghana UK 2025 under the theme “Cocoa: Past, Present & Future -The Role of Women.”
On the night, ten (10) young women of Ghanaian descent will step onto the stage to vie for the coveted Miss Ghana UK crown and a once in a lifetime opportunity to become an ambassador to champion our rich heritage, community development as well as women empowerment and leadership.
Over thirty years, Miss Ghana UK has been more than just a beauty pageant, rather, a celebration of identity, strength, and legacy. As the longest running Black and Ethnic Minority pageant in the United Kingdom, MGUK has grown into an institution that uplifts Ghanaian heritage and amplifies Ghana’s cultural brilliance on a global stage.
In the midst of the pomp and pageantry the night is synonymous for, will be a display of elegant gowns and traditional African wear sponsored by GTP Ghana with Quophi Akotuah and Limels London billed to deliver unforgettable performances. There will also be thought-provoking interviews, which equips the contestant to embrace their roots, express their voices, and carry forward the values of their ancestors.
This year’s theme, “Cocoa: Past, Present & Future takes the pageant deeper into heritage, culture, and innovation. Cocoa is not just Ghana’s treasure it is Africa’s gift to the world. From the lush farms of Goaso and Nsawam in Ghana to the historic plantations of Eti-Oni in Nigeria, cocoa has shaped economies, sustained families, and elevated nations.
According to MGUK Directors, Mavis Osei and Cilla Baafour-Gyewu, this theme is deeply personal. Both women descend from cocoa farming families in Ahafo and Techiman, where the land sustained survival and shaped futures. Now, through Miss Ghana UK, they are preserving that heritage, honouring the women behind it, and reimagining its possibilities for generations to come.
