Thank You Sir Joe Laka, You’re the Prisoner’s Motivator – Kumasi Central Prison Ex-Convicts
The Teens Rescue Missionaries, a group of ex-convicts from Kumasi Central Prison, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, presented a heartfelt citation flyer to the ace sports journalist and Kessben Sports host, Mr. Kwabena Gyamfi affectionately known as Sir Joe Laka.
Mr. Bismark Testimony, representing the group recently granted amnesty dispensation by the government of Ghana, revealed that Kessben Sports has been their main source of motivation over the years in the cells while they underwent reformative and transformative stages at the prisons.
Mr. Bismark Testimony emphasised that the flyer dubbed, ”THANK YOU SIR JOE LAKA. YOU’RE THE PRISONERS’ MOTIVATOR,” seeks to urge Sir Joe Laka and Kessben Sports to keep motivating people alike and the public at large. He hinted that the group designed the flyer while incarcerated awaiting the right moment to present it.
Following their amnesty, the group now mentors Ghanaian youth, sharing valuable life lessons and experiences.
