The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced an exciting development for the upcoming Ghana Premier League (GPL) season. In partnership with Adesa Production Limited, the GFA has unveiled a merit award scheme for the top 15 placed clubs in the league.

According to the GFA, the first four teams will attract significant prizes, with the champion receiving Ghโต2 million, the runner-up Ghโต1 million, the third-placed team Ghโต800,000, and the fourth-placed team Ghโต750,000.
The total merit awards for the top 15 teams will amount to Ghโต9.5 million. The breakdown of the awards is as follows:
1st place: Ghโต2,000,000
2nd place: Ghโต1,000,000
3rd place: Ghโต800,000
4th place: Ghโต750,000
5th place: Ghโต700,000
6th place: Ghโต650,000
7th place: Ghโต600,000
8th place: Ghโต550,000
