Helicopter crash: Islamic Prayers held for Murtala Mohammed and Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna as laid to rest

The Military Cemetery, La, in Accra is where the remains of the two Muslim faithful who were among the eight patriots killed in the helicopter crash last Wednesday have been interred.
Representatives from a wide range of Ghanaian social groups attended a brief ceremonial ceremony held in the ceremonial House’s courtyard.
Based on the quick forensic investigations conducted in South Africa, the government was notified of their identities prior to the burial.
The late acting Deputy National Security Coordinator, Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna, and the Minister of Environment, Science, and Technology, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, who was also the Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, were honored with a solemn Islamic janaaza prayer yesterday at approximately 2:05 p.m. in the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
