Industry Mafia: “Got no beef with anyone, but there are mafias and snitches, so you have to tread cautiously” – King Paluta

Ghanaian music star King Paluta has addressed speculation about possible rifts in the industry, making it clear that while he has no personal beef with anyone, the music game isn’t all love and light.
Speaking with Mr. Bonez on Kessben TV, the rapper and singer opened up about the behind-the-scenes reality of the entertainment world, warning that there are “mafias” in the system who operate with hidden agendas.
“I don’t have issues with anybody. No beef, no rift,” King Paluta stated firmly. “But let me be real with you, there are mafias in this industry. You have to be careful. Not everyone smiling with you is actually for you.”
The Kumasi-based artist, known for his raw and honest lyrics, used the platform to shine a light on the darker side of the music business. He explained that success in the industry doesn’t just depend on talent, but also on knowing who to trust, and who to avoid.
While many artists avoid such discussions publicly for fear of backlash, King Paluta made it clear that he wasn’t trying to stir drama but rather speak the truth from experience. He emphasized that his comments weren’t directed at anyone in particular but were meant to caution up-and-coming artists and those unaware of the industry’s politics.
