NPP’s Mission Is to Eradicate Apathy in Ashanti Region – George Ayisi
George Ayisi, a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said the NPP is determined to eradicate apathy in the Ashanti region, leaving no one behind.
Responding to a question from the host, Nana Frimpong, about why Dr. Bawumia has spent 15 days campaigning in the Ashanti region, Mr. Ayisi explained that the goal is to revive the people through an effective campaign. He emphasized that the NPP wants to ensure zero apathy in the region.
When asked if the intensive campaign was due to the people of Ashanti feeling disappointed in the NPP, Mr. Ayisi firmly denied this. He highlighted the numerous projects the NPP has undertaken for the Ashanti kingdom, asserting that the region remains their stronghold.
He stressed the importance of involving the people in their campaign to prevent a repeat of the 2008 election history in 2024.
Dr. Bawumia, he noted, is personally campaigning to share his vision and policies, showcasing the infrastructures implemented by the NPP. He urged all Ashantis to actively participate in the 2024 election and vote for the NPP for a better future.
Moreover, Mr. Ayisi reiterated that the NPP’s focus on the Ashanti region is to kill apathy in their stronghold. He pointed out that the Ashanti region is second only to Greater Accra in population, making it crucial for their campaign efforts.
Furthermore, he provided a statistical analysis of the NPP’s targets for the 2024 election. The party aims for 85% of the votes in the Ashanti region, a minimum of 75-80%, 65% in the Eastern region, 55% in the Central region, and 49.5% in the Greater Accra region. With these targets, Mr. Ayisi-Boateng expressed confidence in the NPP’s victory.
In his final words, he highlighted the projects completed by the NPP government, including the commissioning of 47 hospitals and the construction of approximately 12,830 km of roads.
He urged Ghanaians to vote for the NPP, emphasizing their commitment to delivering on their promises across various sectors, including health, education, and infrastructure.
