Women’s Network for Peace Ghana Commends Electoral Commission

The Women’s Network for Peace Ghana (WNPG) praises the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) for its successful Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting on October 1, 2024.

The meeting addressed concerns over the voter’s register, following calls from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for a forensic audit. The EC assured stakeholders that it has cleaned the register, resolving all identified discrepancies.

WNPG appreciates the EC’s commitment to transparency, dialogue, and collaborative efforts to maintain electoral integrity. The open discussions reaffirm the importance of cooperation and inclusivity in promoting a peaceful and fair electoral process.

The network urges stakeholders to continue engaging in this spirit, ensuring resilient democratic institutions. WNPG remains dedicated to advocating for peaceful electoral processes and supporting fairness, transparency, and inclusivity.

Special thanks to EC Chairperson, Mrs. Jean Mensa, for her exceptional leadership.
