Reject Politicians Who Campaign on Tribal Lines, They’re a Threat to Ghana’s Development – NAPO

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has cautioned Ghanaians against voting for politicians who campaign on tribal lines.

During his campaign tour of the Central Region, Dr. Prempeh called on the chiefs and residents of Assin Fosu, where he emphasized the importance of unity and inclusivity in Ghanaian politics.

He stated that political leaders who promote divisiveness do not deserve to lead the country.

“Tribal politics has no place in Ghana,” Dr. Prempeh said. “We must reject any politician who seeks to divide us along ethnic or tribal lines. We are one people, one nation, and we must work together towards a common goal.”

Dr. Prempeh’s message was well-received by the chiefs and residents of Assin Fosu, who praised his commitment to unity and national cohesion.

The running mate’s warning comes at a time when some politicians have been accused of exploiting ethnic and tribal differences for political gain.

Dr. Prempeh’s call for Ghanaians to vote wisely and reject divisive politics is seen as a timely reminder of the importance of unity and inclusivity in Ghanaian politics.
