I never hated Asante Kotoko, ‘Jerry Asare Show Show’ told me I’m a good ref but whenever they hear my name, they quiver – Legendary Retired Referee, Seidu Bomison
Retired Ghanaian referee, Seidu Bomison has refuted claims that he hated Kumasi Asante Kotoko during his refereeing days.
The Ghana Football Association and RAG instructor speaking on Kessben FM’s Midfield Action sports show with Joe Laka stressed that it was all wrong perception that had been planted in the minds of most Asante Kotoko supporters.
He noted that this erroneous impression arose due to the fact that Kotoko had struggled to win a good number of games he had officiated and thus the fans wrongly perceived that he was anti-Kotoko.
“I never hated Asante Kotoko. The late Kotoko Chairman Jerry Asare Show Show will see me and be like you are very good but when we see you we begin to quiver.
Hearts of Oak also complained that when I handled their games they lose quite a lot.
I handled quite a number of games which Asante Kotoko won, vs Aduana and others” He said.
