JUST IN: EC postpones voter exhibition exercise to August 20- August 27

A rescheduled Voters Exhibition Exercise for 2024 has been announced by the Electoral Commission (EC).

The exercise will now begin on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, to Tuesday, August 27, 2024, instead of on Thursday, August 1, 2024, as was the initial plan.

The postponement was required because of a scheduling problem with the mop-up voter registration exercise, which is scheduled to take place from Thursday, August 1 to Saturday, August 3, 2024, according to a statement released by the Commission on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

It said it will encourage people “to participate in the Exhibition Exercise.”
