Hearts of Oak is the biggest club in Ghana, winning the league & the FA Cup is our target next season – Kelvin Osei Assibey
Accra Hearts of Oak player, Kelvin Osei Assibey has unequivocally stated that Accra Hearts of Oak is the greatest Ghanaian football Club.
The centre-back speaking on Kessben FM’s Midfield Action Sports Show with Joe Laka stressed that the Accra-based football club is not just the oldest Ghanaian football club but also the biggest.
The workaholic defender divulged that he had always dreamt of playing for Hearts and it was a dream through move for him when he joined the Phobians from Techiman Eleven Wonders.
Despite an abysmal performance by Hearts in the 2023-24 Ghana Premier League finishing 14th on the League Log, Kelvin says the target of Hearts of Oak is to win the Ghana Premier League next season.
“Hearts of Oak is the biggest club in the country. The feeling was great when I signed for the club. It’s not easy playing for Hearts. It was my dream to play for this club.
The Premier League is our target. We are not thinking about Top 4 or anything, for us, it’s the league and the MTN FA cup” He said.
