You don’t have to meet Otumfuo before you perform: “The Kotoko players need serious orientation” – Golden Boy Abdul Razak
Kotoko Legend Abdul Razak reckons the current crop of Asante Kotoko players requires a serious orientation to fully recognize the culture of the club.
The former Player speaking on Kessben TV’s Extra Time Sports reiterated that the current players of the team may not know the magnitude of the club they are playing for and therefore must be compelled to understand the club they are playing for.
Asante Kotoko has gone 3 games unbeaten following the players and technical meeting with the life patron of the club, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu the 2nd.
Before going 3 games unbeaten, Kotoko had gone 9 games without a win with 7 losses in the Ghana Premier League.
After meeting with Otumfuo Osei Tutu the 2nd, Kotoko beat Samartex 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium, drew 1-1 with Medeama away and beat Legon Cities 2-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Kotoko who currently lies 10th on the Ghana Premier League table with 40 points after matchday 29 will play Berekum Chelsea in their next league fixture before hosting Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Stadium on matchday 31.
