GR Accra : VVN Embarks on Sensitisation and Tree Planting in Some Selected Basic Schools

Volunteers for Victory Network (VVN), a committed nonprofit, Non-Political, and Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), passionate and dedicated to environmental sustainable awareness campaigns, greening our environment, holding education in the fight against climate change, good sanitation practices, and its mitigating impact on our environment, and advocacy for environmentally friendly policies, practices, funding towards behavioural change to safeguard our future, held educational and sensitisation programmes in some selected basic schools in the Greater Accra Region.

The Founder and Executive Director of the NGO Ms. Vera Wiredu and her team, also took the opportunity to plant trees in the selected schools to help beautify their environment, cool the temperature around these schools, create wind breaks for the school infrastructure during rainstorms

Madam Vera Wiredu and her Team extended A big Heart of appreciation to the school authorities for the opportunity to visit their schools and the seamless collaboration to protect our environment and also inculcate the need to plant trees in our immediate environment to combat climate change.
