Buoho residents hit the street to demonstrate against perpetual blasting by Quarry companies
Residents of Buoho in the Afigya Kwabre South District of the Ashanti region on Tuesday demonstrated over the destruction of their properties by quarry companies in the community.
According to the protesters, the Quarry companies have been destroying several of their properties due to the many explosions.
One of the demonstrators speaking with Nyakoh Aboronamah on Kessben FM’s Breaking News said that their houses have developed deep cracks with roof damage from flying stones as a result of the blasting.
They thus called on the various authorities to come to their aid over the situation which they have had to endure over the years.
