Overpampared last born (son) allegedly kills mother following a fight with his sister
A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, around 7 a.m. at Woromso in the Ahafo Region, where an 82-year-old woman was killed by her own son.
Ernest Karim, the Assemblyman of Woromso speaking on Kessben FM’s Braking News provided details about the incident.
According to him, the son had a dispute with his elder sister recently been involved in a physical altercation.
Yesterday during another fight, the mother intervened in an attempt to prevent her son from harming his sister, but tragically, the son attacked and killed her.
The victim suffered multiple cuts on her knees and body as a result of the violent assault by her son.
Ernest Karim, in his account, said the perpetrator of the crime was the youngest child of the deceased, implying that she had a deep affection for him. However, he was the one responsible for her murder.
According to his account, the tragic incident has surprisingly hit the whole residents because the son of the deceased is mentally stable, shows respect, and has never been involved in any disagreements or conflicts with others.
Karim also reported that when individuals arrived at the crime scene, they were threatened by the killer. As a result, they took action and one of them shot the man in the leg to bring him under control before police arrived at the scene.
The man after being shot in the leg was rushed to the hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.
